The second stage of the Chilean kiwi export season has begun with high international demand

The second stage of the Chilean kiwi export season has started. This period is marked by high international demand and a 10% decrease in stock over the previous season, according to the Chilean Kiwi Committee’s Crop Report. The prices of kiwis remain largely stable and even higher than the prices achieved in in the main markets in 2019. During weeks 26 and 27 of 2020, Chile exported 11,006 and 4,624 tons of kiwi accumulating 102,540 tons this season, which is 7% less than in the previous season.
