Ecuador and Chile sign a new trade agreement

Ecuador signed a free trade agreement with Chile, replacing a complementary agreement from 2008. The agreement contains 24 chapters, which include agricultural issues, public purchases, market access and electronic commerce. According to the president of Ecuador, Lenín Moreno, the agreement will benefit 710 Ecuadorian companies that export to Chile, where the trade balance is positive.
