Investors react positively to Chile's referendum to change the constitution. The vote triggers two years of debate over the new charter. Blumar has submitted a proposed project to the national environmental impact evaluation service (SEIA) for a $4 million expansion of its frozen products plant, located in the Isla Rocuant sector in the municipality of Talcahuano. According to documents submitted to the SEIA, the project would expand raw material processing capacity for frozen fish production of Blumar’s Pesquera el Golfo brand, from 200 tons to 600 tons per day.
LONGi announced that it has delivered 101 MW of reliable and high-efficiency bifacial modules to an ultra-large power plant in Chile. The 101 MW photovoltaic (PV) project, located high in the Antofagasta region, was developed by Global Power Generation (GPG), a subsidiary of Naturgy Energy Group SA of Spain. With 234696 pieces of LONGi bifacial modules and 2829 units of SF7 bifacial trackers from Soltec Renewable Energies, the 101 MW PV plant will be in operation in November 2020.
