Traces of infectious salmon anemia (ISA) have been detected at a Chilean salmon farm owned by Cultivos Yadran. The Melchor 719 farm in the Aysen region of southern Chile was found to be carrying the virus during a routine inspection by the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service, according to a notice from Sernapesca. Officials at Sernapesca are currently awaiting the results of a re-sampling carried out on October 25th before it decides how to proceed.
