Airlines estimate to end the year operating over 50% of its capacity

Chile opened its borders for non-residents, giving the possibility for the flow of international tourists. Recently, the airline industry has been improving its figures. According to the latest numbers released by the Civil Aeronautical Board (JAC), 438,106 passengers were registered in October which is 154,000 more than in September. However, this figure is 77.9% less than in October 2019. The CEO of Sky, José Ignacio Dougnac, projects to end the year operating over 50% of its capacity.

Activos en Renta Grupo Corporativo developing 471.3-MWp solar project

Activos en Renta Grupo Corporativo SA is developing a 471.29-MWp solar project set in the Antofagasta region, Chile. The AR Changos Solar project will involve the installation of roughly 1.01 million bifacial PV modules, a step-up substation with two transformers and a 13.5-km long 220-kV high-voltage transmission line. Project company AR Changos Solar SpA submitted the environmental impact statement (EIS) for the project last week, noting that it would invest $280 million in the undertaking.

Chile & China celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Chile. To celebrate this important milestone, Chile not only brought online an official Chilean food flagship store on T-mall to offer more convenience to Chinese consumers, but also opened an offline Chilean National Pavilion at the Greenland G- Hub. A short Chilean video was displayed for two weeks throughout all public transportation in Shanghai.

Chile’s blueberry shipments are increasing

According to the Chief Operating Officer of Giddings US, Ian Grigg, Chile's blueberry shipments are increasing. Chile's season looks to be of good quality and volume. “The weather in Chile has been good, and it looks to be a typical year in terms of production volumes and timing, with the season being expected to wrap up with early to mid-March arrivals".
