The GfK Adimark Economic Perception Index (IPEC) registered a value of 29.8 points in December, almost unchanged from the previous two months. This is on a scale where values below 50 points represent a predominance of negative perceptions of the economy. With this result, the indicator completed 30 months in a pessimistic zone and closed 2020 with an average value of 26.4, its lowest level in the nearly 19 years of monthly records.
