Chilean Finance Minister, Ignacio Briones, called the return to growth the first “good news” of 2021. However, analysts warned against putting to much faith in the numbers.

Sonnedix acquires 40 MWp of small-scale solar in Chile

Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd will add 40 MWp of solar farms to its Chilean portfolio after arranging the acquisition with Italian peer Building Energy Andes SpA. Sonnedix has finalised the purchase of four plants totalling 19 MWp and operating since 2018. Another four plants in the ready-to-build stage with a combined capacity of 21 MWp will change owners once they reach commercial operation in the coming months.
