OECD projects Chile’s GDP will increase 4.2% in 2021

The OECD projects that Chile’s GDP will expand by 4.2% in 2021 and 3% in 2022. Álvaro Pereira, OECD director for country studies, said that these projections could change depending on how the pandemic evolves. He also said that Chile should implement, in the medium term, an ambitious program of structural reforms aimed at promoting inclusive growth and reducing the persistently high level of inequality.
